Born & raised in the rural Midwest and educated at University of Illinois (BA) and Massachusetts College of Art (MFA), Jeri Cain Rossi is a published author, musician, filmmaker, and fiber artist. Her quilting influences include Boro (Japanese patchwork), Gee’s Bend, Amish, and master quilter Maura Grace Ambrose.
“I like the meditation of hand quilting. I enjoy employing traditional and modern patterns and making them my own, being part of a grand handing-down tradition of artists before me. In doing so, I create art that is both functional and beautiful.”
