I NEED A MASTER CLASS IN MASTER CRAFTS!
While trolling the internet ALL DAY LONG yesterday looking (unsuccessfully) for an intensive, month long leather apprenticeship/workshop/class/etc..
I found this blog showcasing these amazing shoes from a workshop
entitled 'Master Class in Master Crafts' put on by the Barcelona Design Center and Camper.
It was a 10 day invitational intensive workshop focused on traditional shoemaking and leather craft. 8 designers were invited to participate and these were some of my favorite shoes from the program. I can only dream about getting into a program like this, but it definitely makes me want to learn how to make shoes and go full force into the mastery of leather. Why oh why are there no month long (or even a 2 week?) classes in this entire country for master leatherworking? Can anyone help a lady out here?
